Meri Beth Kennedy Board Director
Meri Beth Kennedy has more than 30 years of professional health care experience. Before retiring as Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations at Planned Parenthood North Central States in 2019, she spent over a decade as Director of Perinatal Services for the Fairview Health System (now M Health Fairview). Meri Beth is a firm believer in the power of education and has served in a number of nursing instruction roles throughout her career.
Meri Beth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science degree in women’s health from the University of Michigan. She joined the University of Minnesota School of Nursing Foundation Board in 2022 and previously served on the board of Face to Face, a medical clinic dedicated to supporting youth in St. Paul.
Meri Beth and her husband Don recently moved to Minnetonka to be closer to their two adult children and young granddaughter. In her free time, Meri Beth enjoys gardening, walking around the lakes, and most of all loves spending time with her family.
